What the numbers show

AI fakes have reached adult recruitment. 25 uploads were confirmed AI-generated with certainty, not suspicion. These were live images on real applications.
Some target verification itself. 3 AI-generated images were submitted as part of identity verification, the checkpoint that exists to prove an applicant is a real, consenting adult.
Enforcement follows detection. 17 confirmed cases ended in account bans. One application was a complete AI persona: profile photos and verification attempt, all generated. It never reached a real member.
The floor, not the ceiling. Confirmed counts are the provable minimum. Layered identity checks, government ID, live verification and human review, exist to catch what any single automated check cannot.

Why it matters for collabs

Creator collabs are the sharp end of this. A collab is arranged person to person, often in DMs, and the cost of a fake is not an annoying chat: it is a wasted shoot day, content in a stranger's hands, or a meeting arranged with someone who does not exist as presented. AI-generated personas make that fraud cheaper to run at scale. We have also seen the same playbook off-platform: a fake "agency" recruiting performers on social media with no registered company, no verifiable address and no legal existence at all. The safest structural answer is verification before contact: on Climaxx Media collabs, every member has passed government ID checks and human review before they can message anyone, so a collab partner is always a real, ID-verified adult.

Methodology

Figures are anonymised aggregates queried from the Climaxx Media production database on 25 July 2026. Every image uploaded to the platform since launch, 3,461 in total, was scanned in July 2026 using automated image forensics, and flagged uploads were then human-reviewed before any action. We deliberately do not publish detection methods, markers or thresholds, and confirmed counts are stated as minimums for the same reason. Counts cover the full historical corpus, not a sample. No personal data is involved. Climaxx Media Ltd is registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15778481) and ICO registered (ZB778270).
